Processing of personal data
In order for us at Plantagen to be able to process your personal data, we must have a legal basis. In our processing of your personal data, we follow the rules as set forth in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) act of EU 2016/679.
Plantagen stores your personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purpose of processing your personal data, and we continuously work with improvements of routines to ensure that we do not store unnecessary data about you and minimize the storage time as far as possible.

Customer care and complaints
Plantagen processes the personal data which you give us when you send us a message thru e-mail, mail, social media, chat, web form or contact us by phone. Remember to not send sensitive personal data on e-mail or open digital channels (chat), as your message will be sent to us in an unencrypted channel. The processing of personal data takes place to the extent it is necessary to process your request, and the personal data is deleted when your case is closed.
Purchase of items or gift cards
When you buy an item or a gift card, you enter into an agreement with Plantagen. In order for you and us to enter into and fulfill the terms as set forth in the agreement, i.e. to carry out the order, pay and handle returns, Plantagen processes personal data consisting of names, contact information and payment information. To be able to fulfil our part of the agreement, you must provide the personal data as mentioned above, if this is missing, the purchase cannot be completed / returned. The personal data is only stored for as long as it is necessary for us at Plantagen to fulfill our contractual obligations and secure your rights in accordance with the agreement.
Certain personal data must be processed by Plantagen to meet the legal obligations as set forth in the accounting legislation. Such personal data may be stored for up to a maximum of 10 years after the completed purchase.
Personalized offers / information
Plantagen also uses your contact information, information about your purchase history and your clicks on our website, to send you offers and information about our news that is related to your purchase, and what you have clicked on or otherwise shown interest in on our website. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in sending you such customized offer / information. However, you may, at any time, withdraw your consent on that we send you these messages. This is done by following the instructions on how to unsubscribe from such a message, or you can contact our customer service and they will help you further in this regard.
When signing up for our newsletter, you give your consent to Plantagen to process your e-mail address for this purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time by following the instructions on how to unsubscribe from such a newsletter or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, whereupon you will no longer receive our newsletters. Your personal data will then be deleted unless it is necessary for other purposes.
Plantagen customer club
When you register as a member of Plantagen's customer club, you enter into an agreement with Plantagen which gives you certain benefits, i.e. better prices on selected items in our stores, priority for sales and refundable points on everything you buy. Through the membership you get your own account ("My page") where you can see your purchases, receipts and bonus points.
To enter into and fulfill this agreement, Plantagen processes your personal data consisting of social security number, e-mail address, name, gender, address, mobile number, password, purchase history (which products you have purchased, at what price, when and in which store), receipts , collected points and information about your clicks on our website.
The personal data is processed for as long as is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you and our obligation to comply with accounting legislation.
You can, at any time, choose to terminate the customer club agreement by contacting Plantagen at email@example.com. In that case, your personal data will be deleted without undue delay after we have received your termination, with the exception of such personal data which we must continue to process in accordance with the applicable legislation at any given time.
Transfer and place of processing of personal data
Plantagen will only transfer personal data to third parties to the extent it is necessary to fulfill the purposes as described in this privacy statement. We therefore do not disclose your personal data to a third party for any other purpose.
Plantagen uses service providers who perform certain tasks for us, and who in this context process personal data on our behalf. These service providers offer services and tools for for our business, such as payment services, communication services (e-mail) and postal services. Right to information and extracts from the register
